These abstracts of land sold provide a checklist of land sold on a daily basis. District land office Registers maintained the abstracts in the district land offices. Each entry contains the date of sale, receipt or certificate number, purchaser's name and residence, tract location, number of acres, price per acre, amount paid in purchase money, and notes. Occasionally the volumes include a monthly recapitulation of number of acres sold and amount of purchase money paid.
